J. Crum Drops Video for “Counter the Culture”

J. Crum dropped a new video today for a single off his freshly-mixed album Exhale called “Counter the Culture.” We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, J. Crum brings high energy to everything he does, and this video is no exception.

Crum spits his passionate, vigorous lyrical statements over a heavy rock track with a message of anarchy, perhaps giving us a glimpse into what we can expect with his upcoming album Black Sheep’s reported subject matter that encompasses stepping outside of black and hip hop stereotypes and grinding to your own groove. And contrary to many rap rock tracks out there, the song’s composition is strong, giving listeners a dope track to rock out to.

The video itself has an addictive quality; it could be the charisma behind Crum’s crew genuinely rocking out, or it could be that dope Omaha beanie. Regardless, it’s a great glimpse into Crum and where his music’s headed and a cool tribute to Omaha.
